Maruti Suzuki to launch WagonR facelift Hyundai Bayon confirmed for India Both will launch by Diwali 2026
India’s two hugely popular car manufacturers, Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai are set to introduce a wide range of new models in the next couple of years. Both car brands will aim at mass-market segments with the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R facelift and the all-new Hyundai Bayon. These two cars are scheduled to be launched around October-November, Diwali festive season.

After introducing the Baleno facelift, MSIL is ready to introduce the Wagon R facelift. This tall-boy hatchback has been caught testing multiple times. It will receive cosmetic changes, but the majority of the changes will be made under the hood.
Z-Series Petrol Engine: In place of the older K-Series engine, the Wagon R facelift will get the Suzuki’s new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Z-Series petrol engine that is claimed to offer low-end torque and higher fuel efficiency. This engine produces 81bhp and 112Nm of torque, and is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
Underbody CNG Packaging: It is expected to receive an underbody CNG space to free up usable space in the boot.
Key Changes: the Wagon R facelift is likely to get a refreshed front grille, modified bumpers, new upholstery for seats, and a new touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Hyundai has officially announced the Bayon nameplate for its upcoming midsize SUV, which will slot between the compact Venue and the next-generation Creta. It will target buyers who want crossover styling over a standard hatchback footprint.
Sensuous Sportiness Design: it comes with arrow-shaped LED daytime running lamps, a low-slung front grille, connected LED tail-lamps and bold body cladding.
Engine Option: it will be the first Hyundai above 4 metres to offer a CNG fuel option. In fact, the crossover is reportedly to get an underbody CNG tank. The Hyundai Bayon will be powered by a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine paired either with a 6-speed manual or a CVT.
Tech-Loaded Interiors: it will come with a dual 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and driver’s display, wireless phone charging, an electric sunroof, standard 6 airbags and LEVEL 2 ADAS.
