Manufacturers from the domestic market and international, are all preparing to participate in the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 from January 17 to January 22. Many have revealed and some are expected to showcase their concept cars as well at the event. It can be said that these concept cars were globally unveiled by the brands and now will debut in India at the Auto Show.
Let's look at some of the car concepts that are to be showcased at the Auto Expo 2025.
The Lexus will be showcasing the LF-ZC which is a battery-electric concept debuted at the Japanese Mobility Show. The concept EV offers a unique design with very versatile packaging with most efforts aiming the reduce the weight of structural components.
As for the interior, the concept car is said to be packed with advanced technology and comes equipped with the Arene OS interactive reality experience platform.
The other concept car that Lexus has confirmed to showcase at the Auto Expo 2025 is the ROV or Recreational Off-highway Vehicle Concept. This vehicle offers a unique design with hydrogen-powered off-roading capabilities and near-zero emissions.
The car has various features that showcase its off-roading capabilities such as a protective cage, exposed suspension, and off-road tires. This car can be seen as the best adventure companion for all SUV enthusiasts from Lexus which will provide the capability to handle high adventures while still fitting compactly in a trailer bed.
Mercedes-Benz India has confirmed that it will display the Concept CLA Class at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The concept CLA Class is built on the MMA platform and is expected to be offered with battery packs of up to 85 kWh.
The car will be seen as the next-gen CLA Class which is going to be offered both as a combustion vehicle and an electric vehicle.
Apart from e Vitara, Maruti Suzuki is expected to showcase its Wagon R Flex Fuel, which is a concept car and represents a milestone as the country's first mass-market flex-fuel car. It is said to be designed to significantly cut down on tailpipe emissions by utilizing a blend of ethanol and petrol as fuel.
The appearance of the car was seen at the 2023 Auto Expo in Delhi and it keeps that classic Wagon R design, yet it's the 'Flex-Fuel' decals that set it apart.
Mahindra has shown its new concept EV SUV, the Rall-E at the Mahindra EV Fashion Festival in Hyderabad. This car is the SEV or you can say a Sporty Electric Vehicle. It is likely to be a part of Mahindra's lineup for the showcase at the Auto Expo 2025 as well.
The Rall E is based on the BE.05 coupe-style SUV concept with an off-road-ready alternative. As there have been no interior shots of the Rall-E, it is expected that it is pretty similar to the BE.05 with the more aggressive-looking rear bumper, C-shaped taillights, and hardwearing materials keeping with its outdoorsy character.
