Tata Motors has introduced the much-awaited Curvv SUV Coupe at the launch event of the electric Curvv. The new Tata Curvv SUV Coupe debuts the brand's new Atlas platform, which is versatile enough to accommodate different body styles and powertrains. Tata Motors has confirmed that the ICE version will be offered with 2 petrol engines and 1 diesel engine. The ICE version of the Curvv SUV Coupe debuts the brand's new ATLAS architecture. This platform is flexible enough to accommodate different body styles, advanced features, multiple engine options and others. It is expected to underpin the next-gen Nexon sub-4 meter SUV and the Sierra lifestyle SUV.
The Curvv ICE version comes equipped with 6 airbags as standard, 3-point ELR seat belts, seat belt Anchor Pre-tensioner, ISOFIX, all-4 disc brakes, electronic parking brake, electronic stability control with 26 functionalities, a 360-degree surround view camera and front parking sensors.
It also comes with Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) with features like lane departure warning (LDW), lane keeping assist (LKA), adaptive steering assist, lane change assist, blind spot collision warning, blind spot view monitor, ACC with Stop & Go, high beam assist, rear cross traffic alert and others.
The Curvv SUV coupe is available with 3 engine options - a 1.2L Hypertech turbo petrol, a 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo petrol and a new 1.5L Kryotec diesel engine. The company has confirmed that the HyperTech and diesel engine gets a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

The Tata Curvv will officially go on sale on September 2, 2024. Official bookings for the same will commence on August 12, 2024; however, Tata dealers have already started accepting pre-orders for the same. It will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Citroen Basalt, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate and others in the mid-sized SUV category.
