Tata is set to launch the new Sierra on November 25, 2025, calling it "The Legend Returns" after more than 20 years. The new SUV combines the classic design of the original Sierra with modern features and tech. Tata has already shared two teasers, giving us a sneak peek of both the exterior and interior. The first teaser shows the Sierra coming out of the jungle, symbolizing strength. The second teaser reveals a luxurious cabin with features like a panoramic sunroof, making this new model one to watch.

The new Sierra keeps the bold, boxy shape of the original but adds some modern updates. The black roof insert, which was a signature of the old model, is back. Tata has also added a connected LED light bar at the front and rear, giving it a more futuristic look. The sleek headlamps and flush door handles add to the stylish exterior. At the back, there’s a flat tailgate, large roof spoiler, and full-width LED taillights, completing the bold design.
Inside, the Sierra feels both luxurious and high-tech. The cabin has dual-tone colors and ambient lighting, creating a sophisticated vibe. The dashboard features a triple-screen setup, bringing smart tech to the forefront. A panoramic sunroof lets in natural light and makes the interior feel more open. For more comfort, the front seats are ventilated, perfect for long drives. The Harman premium audio system ensures a great listening experience, and there’s a wireless phone charger to keep things convenient.
Tata is putting a strong focus on safety with the new Sierra. It comes with Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), which includes features like automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assist. The 360-degree camera helps with parking and tight maneuvers, while six airbags offer added protection. The electronic parking brake is another modern feature that makes parking easier.
Under the hood, the new Sierra will offer three engine options. There’s a 2.0-liter diesel engine, borrowed from the Tata Harrier, and two petrol options - a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. Tata has also confirmed plans for an electric version of the Sierra, which will give buyers a greener option in the future.
