Vinfast Limo Green is India’s new electric 7-seater MPV. Kia Carnival Hybrid and Scorpio N facelift coming in 2026. Renault Duster 7-seater and MG Majestor add more family SUV options.
The 7-seater full-size SUV and MPV segment is growing fast in India. Popular models like Maruti Ertiga, Toyota Innova, Mahindra Scorpio, and Kia Carens Clavis already lead the market.
In 2026, several new entrants are set to make the competition even stronger. Fans can expect the best new 7-seater SUVs and MPVs to hit the roads soon.
The MG Majestor debuted in India in February 2026, with pricing expected soon. This 7-seater SUV comes with triple differential locks, an advanced 4WD system with 10 off-road modes, and Level 2 ADAS.
Other features include ventilated and massage front seats, three-zone climate control, dual wireless chargers, and an 8-speed automatic gearbox paired with a 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine producing 212.5 bhp and 478.5 Nm of torque.

The Vinfast Limo Green is an all-electric 7-seater MPV coming to India in April 2026. It will compete directly with the Kia Carens Clavis EV, currently the only electric 7-seater MPV in India.
It will feature a 60 kWh battery with a range of around 450 km. Fast charging allows it to go from 10% to 70% in just 30 minutes. Prices are expected between Rs 18-22 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Mahindra Scorpio N will get a facelift in 2026. The SUV will keep the same 2.0L petrol and 2.2L diesel engines but get subtle design updates, including new bumpers, grille, and alloy wheels.
Inside, the SUV will feature a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a new digital instrument cluster, borrowed from the Thar Roxx.
Renault will launch a 7-seater version of the Duster in Q4 2026, based on the Bigster concept. The SUV will stretch the rear to fit a third row of seats while keeping the standard Duster styling.
It will come with 1.3L turbo petrol and 1.8L strong hybrid engine options. The Duster 7-seater will compete with Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, and Mahindra XUV 7XO.
Kia will launch the Carnival Hybrid in India by the last quarter of 2026. Unlike the current diesel model, this version will come with a 1.6L turbo petrol engine paired with a 54 kW electric motor for a full parallel hybrid setup.
It will also have a 6-speed automatic transmission and three levels of regenerative braking. Kia plans to launch it as a fully-loaded single trim.
