Bookings for Innova Hycross ZX, ZX(O) stopped for the second time The VX and VX (O) have a waiting period of up to 14 months High demand for these variants caused a delay
Toyota has temporarily stopped bookings for the top-spec variants - ZX & ZX (O) of Innova Hycross. The automaker first halted the bookings for both these variants in April 2023 due to supply-related issues and then resumed it after a year. Priced at Rs 30.34 lakh for ZX and Rs 30.98 lakh (ex-showroom) for ZX (O), both variants have been in high demand.
Undoubtedly, the hybrid and non-hybrid trims of the Innova Hycross have been bestsellers since launch. Though the bookings of the high-end trims, ZX & ZX(O) have halted, the hybrid option is available with the VX and VX(O) variants. These are priced from Rs 25.97 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the hybrid options have a waiting period of over 14 months, depending on the location.
The hybrid Hycross is available with VX, VX (O), ZX, and ZX(O) variants. These trims are powered by a 2.0-litre petrol-hybrid engine. The power output of this petrol-hybrid unit is rated at 184 bhp and is paired with an e-CVT gearbox. Meanwhile its 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol unit can produce 171 bhp with 209 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT gearbox.
The MPV also recently received a non-hybrid GX (O) variant, priced at Rs 20.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This option is offered with a 7 and 8-seat layout and is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol mill.
