Mahindra has released a fresh teaser for its upcoming Vision SXT concept SUV, which is set to be unveiled on August 15, 2025, during the brand’s much-awaited Freedom_NU event. The Vision SXT is the third concept teased so far, following the Vision T and Vision S.
Described as “a vision designed for bold adventures,” the Vision SXT appears to be focused on off-road capabilities. It features upright styling, a clamshell bonnet with sharp grooves, flared wheel arches, and wide off-road tyres—all pointing towards a rugged, go-anywhere SUV.

The Vision SXT’s upright front and protruding bumper give it a strong road presence. The bumper may include provisions for a winch and tow hooks in the final production model. Body panels could blend sharp cuts with muscular curves, taking inspiration from military-style design—highlighting a new, more aggressive design direction from Mahindra.
Like the other Vision concepts, the SXT will be built on Mahindra’s all-new NU multi-energy platform, which supports petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric powertrains. This makes it a future-ready solution as the auto industry shifts to cleaner energy sources.
The Vision SXT could preview a brand-new SUV or even a Scorpio-N-based electric pickup truck. Mahindra has already showcased a diesel-based pickup concept in 2023, and the electric version could be the next step. With strong demand for Mahindra pickups in global markets, this move could help boost international sales.
Mahindra is expected to unveil four concept vehicles at the Freedom_NU event. With three teased already, the final concept could be revealed soon. These designs showcase Mahindra’s bold new direction and reflect the brand’s growing global ambitions.
