Hyundai has tried to mark its presence in India in the sub-40 lakh segment with the Tucson. The company first launched the Tucson back in 2004 and since then the SUV has spawned 4 generations and few facelifts. It is built on the Hyundai-Kia N3 platform.

New Hyundai Tucson offers a very sporty and muscular exterior design. This is demonstrated by its front fascia that provides a large cascading grille, flanked by sharp parametric hidden LED DRLs and positioning lamps.
As we can see on the sides, the vehicle is characterised by bold lines and flared wheel arches alongside 19-inch wheels.
Towards the rear, it offers a combination of bold taillights. The well-integrated bumper and subtle design elements result in an attractive and cohesive appearance.

Interior: New Tucson offers a premium black and light grey dual-tone interior. Unlike earlier versions, the cabin now provides touch-sensitive controls instead of physical buttons. The layout is minimalistic yet loaded with latest technology.
Features: 2023 Hyundai Tucson offers features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Other equipment on the list includes a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, electric parking brake, ventilated front seats, Bose premium 8 speaker sound system, voice recognition, 64 colour ambient lighting among others.
Safety: In terms of safety, the 2023 Tucson gets 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Downhill Brake Control (DBC).

New Hyundai Tucson offers one petrol and one diesel powertrain option. The former is a 2.0-litre petrol unit capable of churning out 156 bhp and 192 Nm torque. While the later is a 2.0-litre oil burner delivering 186 bhp with 416 Nm of peak.
Automatic options include a 6-speed automatic with petrol and an 8-speed automatic gearbox with diesel. Additionally, it gets Drive Mode Select comprising Eco, Normal and Sport. Plus there is Smart 4WD Lock Mode and Multi-Terrain Modes namely Snow, Mud and Sand.
The Hyundai Tucson measures 4,630 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width, 1,665mm in height having a wheelbase of 2,755mm. The car gets a large 62-litre fuel tank and 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
