Next-gen Hyundai Tucson interior revealed ahead of debut SUV gets huge 17-inch screen and AI-powered assistant New Tucson expected with hybrid tech and premium cabin upgrades
Hyundai is preparing the next-generation Tucson SUV, and fresh spy shots have now revealed several new details from the cabin ahead of its global debut.
The Tucson has been one of Hyundai’s most successful SUVs globally, and the upcoming model is expected to receive major upgrades in technology, design, and electrification.
The latest test mule images reveal a much more premium and futuristic interior compared to the current model.

The biggest highlight inside the new Tucson is the massive 17-inch Pleos infotainment screen placed at the centre of the dashboard.
The free-standing display appears inspired by Hyundai’s recently revealed Grandeur sedan and is expected to run on Hyundai’s latest Android-based infotainment system.
The interface is designed to work like a smartphone for easier usability and faster access to features. Hyundai is also expected to introduce a new AI-powered assistant called Gleo, which could offer ChatGPT-like voice interaction features.
The SUV may also feature a 9.9-inch digital instrument cluster for the driver.

Spy shots suggest Hyundai is focusing heavily on premium cabin experience in the next-generation Tucson.
The new steering wheel gets Hyundai’s quad-dot logo along with physical buttons for audio and instrument controls. The gear selector is positioned behind the steering wheel, helping create a cleaner centre console layout.
Physical controls below the touchscreen are also visible, likely for climate functions and volume adjustment.
The dashboard and door trims are expected to use more soft-touch materials, while the seats appear to get additional bolstering and a ribbed design pattern for a more premium feel.
Buttons spotted on the co-driver seat hint at the possibility of a boss mode function as well.
Previous spy shots of the new Tucson have already revealed a sharper and more muscular exterior design.
Hyundai is expected to follow its new ‘Art of Steel’ design philosophy, giving the SUV a bolder and cleaner appearance compared to the current model.
The upcoming Tucson is expected to look more upright and rugged, improving its road presence further.
The next-generation Tucson is also expected to receive Hyundai’s new TMED II hybrid architecture.
A plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version is likely to be offered with an electric-only driving range of up to 100km on a single charge.
Hyundai could also equip the SUV with a more advanced Level 2.5 ADAS suite, featuring improved autonomous driving and intelligent safety technologies.

While Hyundai has not officially confirmed the India launch timeline yet, the new Tucson is expected to debut globally first before arriving in India later.
With a completely redesigned cabin, advanced infotainment system, hybrid technology, and premium features, the next-generation Tucson could become one of Hyundai’s most advanced SUVs yet.
