2026 Skoda Slavia facelift spotted with fresh design updates Sedan expected to get connected tail lamps and new features New 8-speed automatic gearbox likely for 1.0 turbo petrol
Skoda is preparing to launch the updated 2026 Slavia facelift in India later this year, and fresh spy shots have now revealed several new details about the upcoming sedan.
The Slavia facelift is expected to receive cosmetic tweaks, feature additions, and a new automatic gearbox option as Skoda continues updating its India lineup. Many of these updates are likely to be shared with the recently launched Kushaq facelift as well.

The biggest visual changes on the 2026 Slavia facelift are expected at the front and rear.
Spy images suggest the sedan could get a revised grille design with a flatter and cleaner appearance compared to the current car. The front bumper and lighting setup are also likely to receive minor styling updates for a fresher look.
Skoda may also redesign the alloy wheels, while the overall side profile is expected to remain largely unchanged.

At the rear, the updated Slavia could feature connected tail lamps along with illuminated SKODA lettering, giving the sedan a more premium and modern appearance.
New exterior colour options are also likely to be introduced.

Inside the cabin, the Slavia facelift is expected to borrow several features from the updated Kushaq.
The sedan could get a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 10.25-inch digital driver display with navigation support.
Higher variants may also offer premium features like rear seat ventilation and massage function.
However, unlike the Kushaq facelift, the Slavia is expected to continue with a single-pane electric sunroof instead of a panoramic unit.
While there were earlier reports about Level 2 ADAS being added, Skoda is unlikely to introduce it with the Slavia facelift for now.
That said, the sedan already comes with a strong list of safety features, including six airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold control, traction control, electronic differential lock, and multi-collision braking.
The Slavia has already built a strong reputation as one of the safer sedans in its segment.
One of the biggest updates under the hood will likely be the addition of a new 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox for the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.
The engine will continue producing 116PS and 178Nm, but the existing 6-speed automatic gearbox is expected to be replaced with the newer 8-speed unit.
The 6-speed manual gearbox will continue to remain on offer.
Meanwhile, the larger 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine will continue in the same state of tune, producing 150PS and 250Nm, paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox.

The 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift is expected to launch in India later this year and could see a slight increase in pricing over the current model.
Once launched, it will continue competing against rivals such as the Volkswagen Virtus, Hyundai Verna, and Honda City.
With updated styling, more features, and a new gearbox option, Skoda will look to keep the Slavia fresh in the increasingly competitive sedan segment.
