Buyers will have option for the dual motor AllGrip-e AWD configuration with the 61kWh battery pack. The range of the e Vitara is yet to be revealed. This electric SUV comes packed with multiple features including a SmartPlay Pro+ system with a new operating system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, hill descent control, a wireless phone charger, adjustable headrests and more.
The Hyundai Creta Electric is one of the most anticipated car launches of this year. Prices of the EV will be announced on 17th January at the Auto Expo. The Creta electric can be had with either a 42kWh battery or a 51.4kWh battery pack, which are projected to deliver ARAI-certified range of 390km and 473km, respectively. Hyundai said that the Long-Range variant with the 51.4kWh battery can do 0 to 100kmph in 7.9 seconds. The battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 58 minutes via DC fast charger. The EV takes 4 hours to get fully charged by using an 11kW AC wall box charger. On the feature front, the Hyundai Creta Electric offers the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite, 360 degree cameras, Hyundai BlueLink, a panoramic sunroof, vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, etc.
At the 2025 Auto Expo, Tata Motors will showcase a range of its upcoming electric SUVs including the Harrier EV, Safari EV and Sierra EV. The ICE-powered version of the all-new Sierra will also be put up on display. The Tata Sierra will take the centre stage at the brand’s pavilion at the Bharat Mobility Show. While the electric Sierra underpins the Acti.ev platform (borrowed from the Curvv EV), the SUV’s ICE version will be built on the ATLAS architecture. The Tata Sierra EV is likely to be offered with the single and dual electric motor setups, delivering a maximum range of around 500km. The AWD (all-wheel drive) system might be optional. The petrol and diesel versions of the Sierra are reported to feature the brand’s new 1.5L turbo and 2.0L engines, respectively.
