The 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N is expected to launch around August 15. It will get a panoramic sunroof and bigger displays. Engine options are expected to remain unchanged.
Mahindra is preparing to launch the updated 2026 Scorpio N, and the SUV is expected to make its debut around August 15. Ahead of the launch, new units have started arriving at dealerships, while fresh spy shots have revealed several new features inside the cabin. The update focuses mainly on adding more features, while the exterior and engine options are expected to remain largely unchanged.
One of the biggest highlights of the 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N is the addition of a panoramic sunroof. The current Scorpio N comes with a single-pane sunroof, but the updated model will switch to a much larger panoramic unit. The latest dealership and spy images also show the SUV continuing with its dual-tone black and brown interior, along with a light-coloured roof lining.

Mahindra is also expected to upgrade the dashboard with two larger displays. The SUV is likely to get a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster with full-screen map support. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also expected to be part of the package. Recent test vehicles have also been seen with a Sony audio system, while a 360-degree camera is another major addition expected on the updated SUV.
The updated Scorpio N is expected to get a few practical upgrades as well. Second-row passengers are likely to get a 65W Type-C fast charging port. Mahindra is also expected to introduce new toggle switches, similar to those on the Thar Roxx, for functions such as drive modes, hill descent control, traction control and hazard lights. Apart from these changes, the overall cabin layout is expected to remain the same. The SUV is still unlikely to offer dedicated AC vents for third-row passengers.
While earlier test vehicles hinted at a facelift, the latest spy shots suggest that the overall design will remain familiar. The biggest exterior update appears to be a new design for the 18-inch alloy wheels. Mahindra may also introduce a few new paint options with the updated model.
No mechanical changes are expected with the 2026 Scorpio N. The SUV is likely to continue with the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing up to 200 bhp and 380 Nm, and the 2.2-litre diesel engine, which develops up to 175 bhp and 400 Nm. Both engines should continue with manual and automatic gearbox options, while selected diesel variants will retain the 4x4 system with a low-range transfer case.
Mahindra has not officially announced the launch date, but the company has a history of making major product announcements on August 15. With dealership arrivals already underway, the updated Scorpio N is expected to be unveiled around the same time.
Instead of introducing a full facelift, Mahindra appears to be focusing on making the Scorpio N more feature-rich. With a panoramic sunroof, larger screens and new convenience features, the 2026 model is expected to offer a more premium experience while keeping the SUV's familiar design and capable powertrains.
