Tata Motors has silently removed the mid-spec 40.5kWh battery from the Nexon EV line-up. The electric SUV is now available with two battery pack options including a 30kWh and 45kWh. The e-SUV with 45kWh battery pack is claimed to offer a certified range of 489km on a single charge.

The Tata Nexon EV is now available in eight trim levels and a total of 10 variants. The Nexon EV MR is equipped with a 30kWh battery pack and is claimed to offer an MIDC range of 275km. This battery pack is available in 5 variants - Creative +, Fearless, Fearless +, Fearless +S, and Empowered trims.
The Nexon EV with a 45kWh battery pack has an MIDC range of 489km. It is also available in 5 variants - Creative, Fearless, Empowered, Empowered + and Red Dark edition.
The 30kWh battery pack with a front-axle-mounted electric motor offers 130PS and 215Nm of torque, while the 45kWh battery with a front electric motor produces 144PS and 215Nm.
In terms of features, the SUV gets a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital instrument console, climate control, ventilated front seats, cruise control and connected car tech.
For safety and security, the new Nexon EV gets six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors, hill hold control (HHC), hill descent control (HDC), and an electronic parking brake with auto hold. The SUV has received 5-star crash test safety rating conducted by Bharat NCAP.
