2026 Maruti Baleno Facelift - New Design, Bigger Screen & Hybrid Engine

2026 Baleno facelift coming soon. Gets new design, bigger screen and more features. Hybrid engine could offer over 35 kmpl mileage.

Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the facelifted Maruti Suzuki Baleno in mid-to-late 2026.

The update will bring fresh design changes, more features, and a possible hybrid engine, making it more competitive in the premium hatchback segment.

New Design Updates Expected

The Baleno facelift will likely get a refreshed front and rear design. At the front, it could feature a new grille, updated headlamps, and a redesigned bumper. At the rear, expect minor tweaks to the bumper and updated LED tail lamps, giving the car a more modern look.

Bigger Screen and Digital Display

One of the biggest upgrades could be a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the current 9-inch unit. The car may also get a fully digital instrument cluster, making the cabin feel more advanced and premium.

More Features for Comfort

The new Baleno is expected to get more convenience features. These could include a 360-degree camera, wireless charger, and improved connectivity features.

Some reports also suggest the addition of a panoramic sunroof, which would be a big highlight in this segment.

New Engine Options Possible

The facelift is likely to continue with the 1.2-litre petrol engine.

However, Maruti could also introduce a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine for better performance in higher variants. There are also strong chances of a new hybrid version, which could deliver fuel efficiency of over 35 kmpl.

Rivals in the Segment

The updated Baleno will continue to compete with the Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz, both of which already offer strong features and tech.
