With Mahindra, Kia, and MG stepping up their EV game, Indian customers can look forward to more spacious, premium, and eco-friendly mobility options in 2025.
Here’s a closer look at the top 3 upcoming 7-seater electric cars in India that are expected to hit the roads before the year ends.
MG Motor India is all set to launch the M9 electric MPV, an upscale offering aimed at tech-savvy and comfort-oriented buyers. The M9 is part of MG’s new EV lineup that includes the recently unveiled Cyberster.
Sold via MG’s exclusive Select showrooms, the M9 EV is set to compete with premium MPVs in both ICE and EV formats.
Mahindra’s XEV 7e is among the most anticipated electric SUVs in India. Inspired by the XUV.e8 concept and borrowing design cues from the XUV700, this SUV is expected to be a game-changer in the full-size electric SUV space.

The Clavis Electric is the brand’s next big EV launch after the popular EV6. Based on the Carens platform, the Clavis will slot in as a more premium alternative with enhanced features and electric powertrain options.
