6 New Midsize SUVs Coming Soon

The midsize SUV segment in India is getting busy again. Brands like Tata Motors, Mahindra, Toyota, Nissan, Skoda and Volkswagen are all getting new SUVs soon. Some will be electric, while others will be updated versions of existing models.

Tata Sierra EV Coming Soon

The Tata Sierra is making a comeback. The electric version is expected to launch first.

The Sierra EV may come with two battery options. The bigger battery could offer over 500 km range on a single charge. Fast charging is also likely. This will be one of Tata’s important EV launches.

Nissan Tekton to Arrive Soon

The Nissan Tekton will be based on the same platform as the new Duster.

It is expected to get multiple engine options, including turbo petrol and hybrid. The design will be bold and upright, inspired by bigger Nissan SUVs. Launch is expected in the coming months.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella EV

Toyota is also working on a new electric SUV called the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella.

It could come with 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery packs. The bigger one may offer over 500 km range. The launch is expected soon.

Volkswagen Taigun Facelift on April 9

The updated Volkswagen Taigun will launch on April 9, 2026.

It will get small design changes like new LED headlamps, connected DRLs and updated bumpers. Inside, it may get a bigger touchscreen, better display, ventilated seats and a panoramic sunroof.

Skoda Kylaq Sportline Version

The Skoda Kylaq will soon get a Sportline version.

This variant will look sportier with black elements and new alloy wheels. Inside, it may get an all-black cabin with red highlights. Engine options are expected to stay the same.

Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift Expected

Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is also on the way.

It may get small design updates like new lights, grille and alloys. Inside, more features could be added like a bigger screen and better connectivity. ADAS may also be offered.
