3 Hyundai hybrid SUVs confirmed Creta, 7-seater & Palisade coming Launch timeline starts from 2027
Hyundai Motor India is gearing up for a major product push, and hybrid SUVs are going to be a big part of this plan. Over the next few years, the company will introduce multiple new models, including a mix of petrol, diesel and electric vehicles.
Along with EVs, Hyundai is now preparing to enter the hybrid space in India with three new SUVs. These include the next-gen Hyundai Creta, a new 7-seater SUV, and the premium Hyundai Palisade.

The next-generation Creta is already under testing and is expected to arrive around 2027. The SUV is likely to get a completely fresh design with a more bold and boxy look.
It will be built on a new platform and is expected to offer more space and features than the current model. While existing engine options may continue, the big highlight will be the addition of a strong hybrid system.
This hybrid setup is likely to be based on a 1.5L petrol engine, focusing on better fuel efficiency and smoother city driving.
Hyundai is also working on an all-new three-row SUV, which is expected to launch in 2027. This model will sit between the Hyundai Alcazar and the Hyundai Tucson in the brand’s lineup.
Once launched, it will compete with rivals like the Mahindra XUV700 and the Tata Safari.
Reports suggest that this upcoming SUV could be based on a long-wheelbase version of the Tucson and may share its hybrid powertrain with the next-gen Creta. This means buyers can expect a balance of performance and efficiency.

Hyundai’s flagship SUV, the Palisade, is also expected to make its way to India around 2028. This will mark Hyundai’s entry into the premium full-size SUV segment.
Globally, the Palisade comes with a large petrol engine, but the India-spec version is expected to feature a hybrid setup. This could include a 2.5L turbo petrol engine combined with electric power.
The hybrid system is expected to offer better performance along with improved fuel efficiency. The SUV will also come with multiple drive and terrain modes, making it suitable for different road conditions.
