Hyundai Creta Hybrid Engine - 25kmpl Mileage Expected

Creta hybrid mileage may cross 25kmpl Launch expected around 2027 Bigger, more premium next-gen SUV coming

Hyundai Creta is getting ready for a big update, and this time, it’s all about better mileage and smarter tech. The upcoming version is expected to come with the Hyundai Creta hybrid engine, and early reports suggest it could deliver over 25kmpl.

For buyers who want an SUV that is easy on fuel but still feels premium, this could be a big deal.

Hybrid Engine Could Be the Game Changer

The highlight of the new model will be its Hyundai Creta hybrid engine. It is likely to use a 1.5L petrol engine along with a strong hybrid setup.

This means the SUV can run on electric power at low speeds and switch to petrol when needed. The result is better fuel efficiency, especially in city traffic. The Creta hybrid mileage is expected to cross 25kmpl, and in ideal conditions, it could go even higher.

The same setup is also expected to be shared with the next-gen Kia Seltos, making both SUVs strong rivals in the hybrid space.

Launch Still Some Time Away

There is no official confirmation yet, but the Hyundai Creta hybrid launch date is expected around 2027. The new model, also known as the Hyundai Creta hybrid 2027, has already been spotted testing globally.

These early spy shots clearly show that the SUV is getting more than just a small update.

Bigger Size, More Space

The next-gen Creta is expected to grow in size. Its length could increase from around 4.3 metres to nearly 4.5 metres.

The wheelbase may also get longer, which means better legroom for rear passengers. Boot space is expected to go up to around 450–460 litres, making it more useful for daily needs and long trips.

New Platform, Better Safety

The 2027 Hyundai Creta hybrid will be built on a new platform, which is expected to be stronger and safer than the current one.

The current Creta scored 3 stars in crash tests, so this update will likely focus on improving safety and overall build quality.

More Premium Feel Inside

Inside, the Creta is expected to feel more premium than before. Higher variants may come with bigger 19-inch alloy wheels and a wider stance.

There could also be features like electric Boss mode, where rear passengers can adjust the front seat for more legroom.

A large 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital display are also expected, while lower variants may get a 10.25-inch screen.
