Hyundai Motor India Limited has launched two new variants - S+ AMT and S(O)+ MT in its popular entry SUV, the Hyundai Exter. Both variants are equipped with a smart electric sunroof. While the S+ AMT is priced at Rs 8.44 lakh, the S(O)+ MT is tagged at Rs 7.86 lakh.
Both variants are powered by Hyundai's tried & tested 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder, Kappa petrol engine that produces 81.8bhp of power and 113.8Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission).
In terms of features, the Hyundai Exter S+ AMT and S(O)+ MT variants gets Smart Electric Sunroof, digital cluster with color TFT multi-information display (MID), an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, power windows, LED DRLs, headlamp escort function, rear AC vents and others.
For safety and security, the new Hyundai Exter variants get 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, Day & Night IRVM, Tyre Pressure monitoring system (TPMS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), burglar alarm, ABS with EBD, emergency stop signal (ESS), impact-sensing auto door unlock and others.
