Hyundai Stargazer, a popular minivan launched in 2022 in Indonesia, has made its way to several global markets. These include the Philippines, Brunei, Thailand, and the Middle East. Now, the automaker is getting ready to unveil a facelifted version of Stargazer, as a recent teaser confirmed. What is more interesting about the Stargazer facelift is its new SUV-like look and its premium features.
Let’s take a closer look at what the refreshed Hyundai Stargazer has in store for 2025.
The Stargazer facelift takes inspiration from SUVs, giving the minivan a more commanding presence on the road.
Its front fascia is almost entirely new, featuring a wider front grille with studded elements for a bold look. The updated front-end design includes rectangular LED headlamps paired with H-shaped LED DRLs that integrate the turn signals. The full-width LED bar at the front enhances the vehicle’s modern appeal.
The new bumper is also redesigned in an 'H' format, which looks quite robust. While the side profile remains largely unchanged, the new alloy wheels give the minivan a fresh look. Besides, the rear of the vehicle mirrors the front with H-shaped lighting elements and a clean, minimalistic tailgate design, complemented by a rugged-style faux metallic bumper.

Although the side profile remains mostly the same, the length of the Hyundai Stargazer facelift could change slightly, with the current model measuring 4,460 mm in length. However, other dimensions like width (1,780 mm), height (1,695 mm), and wheelbase (2,780 mm) are expected to remain unchanged.
A premium version, the Stargazer X, will also be available. This version will offer larger wheels and additional equipment.
While the interior details of the Hyundai Stargazer facelift are not fully revealed, we can expect a more premium digital cockpit experience. With recent trends in Hyundai models, the updated minivan may come with larger screens and an upgraded infotainment system. The current model already includes features like:
- Ambient mood lighting
- 8-inch display audio with smartphone connectivity
- Full digital cluster with 4.2-inch TFT LCD
- Leatherette seats
- Wireless smartphone charger
The facelifted Stargazer will continue to offer both 6-seat and 7-seat configurations, maintaining the 3-row seating format. The improved suspension system is expected to provide smoother rides, making it more capable of handling potholes and tight corners.

Under the hood, the Hyundai Stargazer facelift will likely retain the same 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 115 PS. The engine will be paired with either a 6-speed manual or CVT transmission. Hyundai has promised that the updated minivan will offer an even more comfortable and refined driving experience.
Hyundai Stargazer facelift is expected to be unveiled at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show, scheduled for July 24, 2025. Although there have been speculations about its launch in India, no official confirmation has been made. If it does arrive in India, it will likely compete with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Rumion in the MPV segment.
