Mahindra BE 07 testing enters final phase. Frameless doors and ADAS expected. Premium electric SUV to sit above the BE 6.
Mahindra is continuing to test its upcoming BE 07 electric SUV on Indian roads. Fresh spy shots suggest that the model is now very close to its production version, revealing several exterior details and confirming a number of premium features expected to be offered with the SUV.
The BE 07 will be positioned above the BE 6 in Mahindra's electric vehicle lineup and is expected to offer a more premium package.

The latest prototypes are still covered in camouflage, but several production-ready elements are clearly visible. The SUV gets production-spec headlamps, while the rear continues to use temporary taillights as testing enters its final phase.
The BE 07 features a coupe-inspired roofline, a sporty stance and a premium-looking rear profile. Its overall design is expected to remain very close to the concept version showcased earlier by Mahindra.
The latest spy images reveal that the production model will come with frameless doors and powered flush-fitting door handles. It will also feature large black-finished alloy wheels, projector LED headlamps, fog lamps, front parking sensors, vertically stacked LED taillamps, a rear wiper and washer, and a tailgate-mounted number plate.
These features indicate that Mahindra is positioning the BE 07 as one of its flagship electric SUVs.
While the interior has not been fully revealed yet, the BE 07 is expected to offer a modern and technology-rich cabin.
The SUV is likely to feature dual digital screens on the dashboard, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, multi-zone climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a head-up display, a 360-degree camera and multiple Type-C charging ports.
Mahindra is also expected to equip the BE 07 with Level 2 ADAS, making it one of the most feature-loaded electric SUVs in its segment. Six airbags are also expected to be offered as standard or on higher variants.
Mahindra has not yet revealed the technical specifications of the BE 07.
However, the SUV is expected to use the same 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs that are currently available with the BE 6.
The company is likely to offer multiple variants with different battery options and driving ranges, although official details are yet to be announced.
The latest round of testing suggests that development of the Mahindra BE 07 is progressing quickly. As the SUV moves closer to production, more information regarding its battery specifications, driving range, variants and launch timeline is expected to be revealed soon.
