The Mahindra Thar Roxx will launch in India on the 15th of August. With a few days to go until an official announcement regarding the price, Mahindra released a new teaser that wraps up the details inside the cabin of the new five-door SUV.

The Thar Roxx would host a soft-touch panel dashboard with contrasting yellow stitching, a panoramic sunroof, and cruise control that makes the highway an easier place to drive. It would further load up the trim with an electronically locking rear differential for better off-road performance and ventilated seats for added comfort.
There would be a digital MID and a 10.25-inch infotainment system in the Thar Roxx. Its higher variants would have a long list of features, a Harman Kardon sound system, a panoramic sunroof, and a soft-touch dashboard. The seat upholstery, though white, is black in the current Thar. Other features that are expected to make their way include a powered driver's seat, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
Now, talking about performance, the same engine configurations offered on the Scorpio N would be on offer with the Thar Roxx. It will come with a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel producing 117bhp of power and 300Nm of torque, a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel producing 172bhp of power and 400Nm of torque, and a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol making 200bhp of power and 380Nm. It will be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
