Mahindra has commenced the official booking for its born-electric SUVs, BE 6 and XEV 9e. Customers can book through the official brand site or offline at the nearest Mahindra dealership. The full price list for each variant has been revealed before with the BE 6 priced between Rs 18.90 lakhs - Rs 26.40 lakhs (ex-showroom), while the XEV 9e is priced a bit higher from Rs 21.90 lakhs - Rs 30.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Each SUV comes with a futuristic design, modern tech, and a powerful electric engine. Let's get a closer look at these born-electric SUVs that are themed "Unlimit Love".
The BE 6 comes with an aggressive look with dual-pod headlights, C-shaped LED DRLs, and tail lights while the XEV 9e features a simpler SUV-coupe design with vertically stacked LED headlights, inverted L-shaped connected LED DRLs and tail lights.
As for the features, both SUVs offer 7 airbags, ventilated front seats, a panoramic glass roof, a 360-degree camera, and advanced Level 2 ADAS features.
The features and design of these SUVs differ, however they share the same battery pack options and INGLO architecture. Both the BE 6 and XEV 9e are offered with a 59 kWh battery pack and a 79 kWh battery pack.
It has been claimed by the automaker that the XEV 9e can charge from 20 percent to 80 percent in under 20 minutes while using a 175 kW DC fast charger. As for the range, the smaller battery pack (59 kWh) offers an MIDC range of 542km on a single charge and the larger one (79 kWh) offers up to 656 km.
For the base variant i.e. Pack One of both models, the deliveries are planned to start in August 2025. As for the Pack Two variants deliveries, they will start in July 2025, and the top specs of both SUVs will commence in mid-March 2025.
