Bidding farewell to the erstwhile C 300d AMG, Mercedes-Benz has introduced the C 300 AMG Line in India at Rs. 69 lakh, ex-showroom, making it the most expensive in the series. Mercedes has also rolled out updates to the C-Class (Rs. 61.85 lakh - 62.85 lakh) range and GLC SUV (Rs. 75.90 lakh - Rs. 76.90 lakh).
Per the sportier suite, the C 300 AMG receives new bumpers and signature elements both inside and out. Exclusive to the sedan are keyless-go, blind spot assist and Burmester sound setup. The black-themed ‘Night Package’ for the cabin comes as standard and Manufaktur colour options on offer include Sodalite Blue and Patagonia Red Bright.
Under the hood does duty a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol mill capable of milking out 258 horsepower and 400 Newton metres. Additionally, an integrated starter generator belts out a healthy 22 hp apart from a 27 hp overboost add-on, that lasts for 30 seconds and can be utilised continuously basis the temperature ceiling is satisfied.

The German marque’s bestseller GLC SUV gets these new features - Nine airbags (new side rear airbag) and a heated-ventilated seat combination. Ex-showroom prices are Rs. 75.90 lakh and Rs. 76.90 lakh for the GLC 300 4Matic and GLC 220d 4Matic, respectively.
