JSW MG Motor India is getting aggressive with its product strategy as it plans to launch 3 new cars in the next couple of months. While MG Windsor EV PRO will be a mass-market EV, MG Cyberster and M9 will be the brand’s luxurious electric vehicles. These two luxurious models will be sold through MG SELECT, the luxury brand channel of JSW MG Motor India. Interested buyers can book the MG M9 electric MPV online at MG SELECT website by paying a token amount of Rs 51,000.
The new MG M9 will be positioned somewhere between the Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire. MG has now released new pictures of the M9 interior, which shows the Presidential seats. Marketed as “The Presidential Lumousine”, the new MG M9 seats come with 16-way adjustment, eight massage settings, ventilation and heating.

The MG M9 gets a dual Yacht-style panoramic sunroof and 64-color ambient lighting system along with 12-speaker sound system. It comes with dual-tone pure black or cognac brown interiors, which is claimed to be designed for an “iconic experience.”

The new MG M9 electric MPV is packed with a 90kWh battery pack paired to a single electric motor rated at 244bhp and 350Nm of torque. It is claimed to offer a range of 430km on a single charge. The MG M9 e-MPV supports fast charging up to 125kW, as the battery can achieve 30% to 80% charging status in just 30 minutes.
The new MG M9 e-MPV will come in 3 colour choices - Cardiff Black, Mystic Grey, Luminous White. In terms of proportions, the new MG luxury electric MPV is 5270mm long, 2000mm wide and 1840mm tall, and a 3200mm wheelbase. It is estimated to be priced somewhere around Rs 80 lakh - 90 lakh (ex-showroom).
