Mini India has introduced its first all-electric model in the country, the Mini Countryman SE All4, at a price of Rs 66.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV will be sold as a Completely Built-Up Unit (CBU), with bookings starting today and deliveries expected to begin soon. It will be offered in the exclusive John Cooper Works (JCW) trim. This makes the Countryman SE All4 the only all-electric Mini currently sold in India.
The Mini Countryman SE All4 is offered in two colour options, Legend Grey and Midnight Black, both paired with a Jet Black roof and black mirror caps. The SUV has a strong and sporty look, thanks to its wider wheel arches, sculpted bonnet, short overhangs, flush-fitting door handles, side skirts and a rear spoiler. It rides on stylish 19-inch JCW Runway Spoke Black alloy wheels.
The front features LED headlights that offer three Daytime Running Light styles: Classic, Favoured and John Cooper Works. For better nighttime visibility, the car is equipped with High Beam Assistant, which helps prevent glare for oncoming vehicles.
Inside, the Countryman SE All4 has a sporty and premium cabin. It comes with JCW sports seats finished in Vescin/Cord Black upholstery along with a JCW-themed dashboard. The interior also includes ambient lighting, a panoramic glass roof and a round OLED driver display.
The SUV features a 9.5-inch central touchscreen running Mini Operating System 9 with voice assistant support. Wireless smartphone charging and a JCW steering wheel with integrated controls are also part of the package.
Owners can use the Mini Digital Key Plus feature to operate the car using their smartphone. The Harman Kardon Surround Sound system enhances the audio experience, while Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, built-in navigation and remote software updates add convenience. A fisheye camera inside the cabin allows users to capture photos and videos, which can be shared easily using a QR code.
The Mini Countryman SE All4 is powered by a 66.4 kWh lithium-ion battery that delivers a driving range of up to 440 km (WLTP cycle) on a single charge. It produces 309 bhp and 494 Nm of peak torque. The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds and has a top speed of 180 km/h. The all-wheel-drive system is offered as standard.
When connected to a 130 kW DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in about 29 minutes. The car can also gain up to 100 km of range in just 8 minutes of fast charging. Using a 22 kW AC charger, a full charge from 0% to 100% takes around 3 hours and 45 minutes.
The Countryman SE All4 comes with six airbags, cruise control and Comfort Access, which allows the SUV to lock and unlock automatically when the key is within 1.5 meters of the car. Parking Assistant Plus with a 360-degree camera helps during tight parking situations.
Drivers can choose from three Mini Experience Modes: Go-Kart for a sporty drive feel, Green for efficiency and Vivid for a more lively cabin atmosphere. Essential controls such as start/stop, drive mode selection and volume adjustment are placed on the Toggle Bar Island for easy access.
