Tata to reveal Curvv ICE prices on September 2 MG to launch Windsor electric CUV on September 11 Mercedes-Benz to launch flagship Maybach GLS in 1st week of September
After an exciting month of August, the Indian auto industry is now ready to witness the launch of multiple New Cars across different segments. While Tata Motors will announce the prices of the Curvv ICE, MG Motor India will launch the Windsor EV in September 2024. Let us take a look at all the cars and SUVs set to arrive in September 2024.

After launching the Curvv EV, Tata Motors is now ready to announce the prices of the Curvv ICE (petrol and diesel) on September 2, 2024. The Tata Curvv SUV Coupe will be offered in 5 trim levels - Pure+, Creative, Creative+ S, Accomplished S and Accomplished+ A trims. It is based on the new ATLAS platform, which is claimed to be versatile enough to accommodate different body styles. In fact, the next-gen Sierra and Nexon are also likely to be based on this platform.
The SUV Coupe will be offered with 3 engine options - a 118bhp/170Nm, 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo petrol, a 116bhp, 1.5L Kryotec diesel and a new 123bhp/225Nm, 1.2L direct-injection turbo petrol engine. All three engines are offered with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic option.
Some of the key features include gesture controlled powered tailgate, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment by Harman, Sequential LED DRLs & Tail-lamp with welcome goodbye animation, Electrochromatic IRVM with Auto Dimming, Level 2 ADAS, JBL sound system, rear seat reclining function, wireless smartphone charger, Electronic parking brake with auto hold, etc.

Scheduled to be launched on September 9, the new Alcazar facelift will come equipped with an updated design and new features. Mechanically, the new Hyundai Alcazar won't receive any major update. The updated model will receive new design elements to differentiate it from the older model.
It is likely to get a new front bumper and grille along with a split headlamp setup. The SUV will have new 8-spoke alloy wheels, updated cladding and vertically stacked LED tail-lamps. The cabin will have new colour schemes and more features. Some of the features will include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an electrically adjustable driver seat, an 8-speaker Bose sound system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument console.

MG Motor India has announced that the Windsor electric CUV (Crossover Utility Vehicle) will be introduced in our market on September 11, 2024. Ahead of its official launch, MG has released multiple teasers that show some of its key features. This electric CUV will come with Hyundai Ioniq 5-like panoramic glass roof, segment-first Aero-lounge seats with 35 degree recline and its high ground clearance.
It is basically the re-badged Wuling Cloud EV, which is on sale in select international markets. The new MG Windsor EV is expected to get a large 15.6-inch floating touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. It is likely to receive Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree surround view camera, 6 airbags, ESC, HHC, electronic parking brake with auto hold function, TPMS and others.
This electric CUV is likely to receive a front-axle mounted electric motor, which draws power from a 50.6kWh battery pack. The combined power and torque output stands at 134bhp and 200Nm, respectively. It is likely to offer an impressive range of up to 500km on a single charge.

Mercedes-Benz India has announced plans to launch the EQS Maybach electric SUV on September 5, 2024. It's already on sale in China last year and will join the Mercedes-Maybach GLS SUV in the Mercedes-Benz India line-up. It will come with Maybach-specific design, feature and tech upgrades.
Mercedes will only introduce the top-spec 680 variant of the EQB Maybach electric SUV. It features the 4Matic AWD tech as standard, and offers an impressive output of 658hp and 950Nm. It is claimed to offer an impressive range of up to 600km (WLTP). The electric SUV hits 0-100kmph acceleration in just 4.4 seconds before hitting a top speed of 210kmph.
