A smart, compact SUV for city and long-distance driving. Features illuminated accents, large 21-inch wheels, and a stylish interior. Promised range on a single charge, powered by a 208 bhp electric motor.
Volkswagen has unveiled its new ID. Cross Concept, an electric compact SUV that promises to bring affordable, sustainable mobility to urban and long-distance drivers alike. Revealed at the 2025 IAA Mobility Show in Munich, this concept car showcases Volkswagen's vision for the future of electric mobility.

Though the ID. Cross is a concept, its potential production version could bear a strong resemblance to the popular T-Cross.

With a length of 4,161 mm and a wheelbase of 2,601 mm, the ID. Cross is compact and perfectly suited for urban driving.

The vehicle's sleek design features illuminated accents, large 21-inch wheels, and a distinctive LED DRL light bar, showcasing the ID family’s signature styling while incorporating more detailed touches for added appeal.

The interior of the ID. Cross is equally impressive, featuring a 13-inch free-standing infotainment screen and a floating center console. The dashboard draws inspiration from the ID2.all Concept and offers a clean, modern look with physical controls placed intuitively.

The Vanilla Chai interior theme, with its soft pinkish beige tone, creates a soothing atmosphere, complemented by ambient lighting and comfortable, foldable seating to create a relaxing environment.

Although Volkswagen has yet to release full battery specifications, the ID. Cross Concept is expected to share powertrains with the ID. Polo, delivering a 420 km range on a single charge. The vehicle will feature a single electric motor powering the front wheels with a peak power output of 208 bhp, providing a smooth and efficient driving experience.
While exact pricing has not been confirmed, industry experts speculate that the ID. Cross could start at around EUR 25,000 (approximately Rs 25.8 lakh). The production version is expected to debut in summer 2026, offering an affordable, high-tech electric SUV to compete in the growing EV market.
