Kia Sorento Hybrid cabin has been spotted without camouflage. The SUV gets dual screens, Bose audio and ventilated rear seats. Official bookings are already open ahead of its India launch.
Kia is preparing to launch the Sorento Hybrid in India later this year, and fresh spy shots have now revealed almost everything about its cabin. The latest images show the India-spec SUV without any camouflage inside, giving us a clear look at the premium interior and the long list of features it is expected to offer.
The Sorento will be Kia's first hybrid SUV for the Indian market, and with bookings already open, its launch is expected to take place soon.
The upcoming Sorento gets a dual-tone black and brown interior that gives the cabin a premium look. Soft-touch materials have been used across the dashboard and door panels, while satin-finished metallic accents add to the overall finish.
The dashboard is dominated by a curved display that combines the digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen into one seamless unit. The SUV also gets a multifunction steering wheel with controls for the infotainment system, phone functions, instrument cluster and ADAS features. Paddle shifters are also part of the package.

The centre console comes with a rotary gear selector and a separate rotary dial for selecting different drive or terrain modes.
Other visible features include a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, digital climate controls, electronic parking brake, Auto Hold, Hill Descent Control, Auto Start/Stop function and cupholders. The front centre armrest also offers additional storage space underneath. The Sorento is also equipped with a Bose premium sound system, with branded speakers mounted on the doors.
One of the biggest highlights of the India-spec Sorento is its second-row seating. The test vehicle is fitted with captain seats, indicating that Kia could offer a six-seat version alongside a seven-seat option. More importantly, the second-row seats are ventilated, making the Sorento one of the few premium SUVs in its segment to offer this feature.
The seats can slide and recline for added comfort. Rear passengers also get Boss Mode, which allows them to adjust the front passenger seat electronically to create extra legroom. The rear doors feature retractable sunshades, bottle holders, storage pockets and Bose speakers. The controls for the ventilated rear seats are conveniently placed on the door panels.
Although Kia has not yet announced the India-spec powertrain details, the Sorento is expected to use a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol strong-hybrid engine. In global markets, this setup produces around 238 hp and 380 Nm, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Kia is expected to locally assemble the Sorento Hybrid in India, helping it stay competitive in the premium SUV segment. Prices are expected to start at around Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom).
