Nissan Gravite will be launched as a new 7-seater MPV Launch on February 17, 2026 Both NA and turbo petrol versions will be introduced
Nissan is all set to launch its new 7-seater low-cost MPV, the Gravite, in the country on February 17, 2026. Ahead of its launch, Nissan has released a new TV commercial showing the vehicles practicality, seating and other details. The teaser also shows the camouflaged Nissan Gravite undergoing road validation tests on different Terrains, including straight roads, rural roads, and water wading tracks.

The three-row MPV features the traditional cab-forward design, featuring a boxy, and upright silhouette. It is basically the re-badged Renault Triber, featuring Nissan’s traditional logo, C-shaped LED lighting elements, a prominent Nissan logo, and a more sculpted bumper design. Other design details include usable roof rail, body cladding and alloy wheels. The rear gets a wraparound LED tail-lamps, a faux-skid plate, and C-shaped bumper.

Similar to the Triber, the Nissan Gravite features a 7-seat configuration with a flat floor. The MPV offers a versatility for both passengers and cargo. To increase versatility further, the new MPV has sliding and reclining function for the second-row. The third-row seat is spacious enough to accommodate children, and customers can fold the seats to increase the luggage carrying capacity.
In terms of features, the new Gravite gets a digital driver’s display, a centrally-mounted infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic AC, keyless entry with push-button start, and rear air-con vents for all three rows. It is expected that the higher variants could get a 360-degree surround view camera, wireless phone charging and connected car tech. Watch this full video to check the new Gravite
For safety and security, the new Gravite gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), hill-hold assist, and tyre pressure monitoring system.

The new Nissan Gravite is powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 71bhp of power and 96Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. What’s interesting is that the Gravite will also get a 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 99bhp and 160Nm of torque, and is paired to either a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
