Nissan Tekton Visia is the entry-level variant. It gets LED lights, 6 airbags and a turbo-petrol engine. Visia+ adds a touchscreen and more convenience features.
Nissan Tekton is available in multiple variants, with the fully-loaded Tekna+ sitting at the top of the range. However, not everyone needs all the premium features. For those looking for a practical family SUV without spending too much, the entry-level Visia variant offers a well-balanced package.
Even though it is the most affordable version in the lineup, Nissan has not stripped away the essentials.
The Tekton Visia carries the same overall design as the higher variants. It comes with LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights, Tekton lettering on the bonnet, body-coloured ORVMs and door handles. The SUV also gets 17-inch steel wheels, which suit its proportions well and maintain its strong road presence.

Inside, the dashboard design is identical to the higher variants, although the base model misses out on a touchscreen infotainment system.
Instead, it gets a digital instrument cluster along with a four-speaker Arkamys audio system that can be operated through the display. Other features include power windows, electrically adjustable ORVMs, manual air conditioning with rear AC vents and height adjustment for the driver's seat.
Powering the Tekton Visia is a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that develops 99 bhp and 166 Nm of torque.
The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, and Nissan claims a fuel efficiency of 19.5 kmpl.
One of the biggest highlights of the base variant is its safety package. The Tekton Visia comes with six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating as standard. These features are available across the entire Tekton range, including the entry-level model.
Those looking for a few extra convenience features can opt for the Visia+ variant, which is priced Rs. 65,000 higher.
It adds a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering-mounted audio controls and a rear-view camera. For many, these additions could make the extra cost worthwhile.
While the Tekna+ offers more premium equipment, the base Visia proves that you don't have to spend top-spec money to get a spacious SUV with modern styling, a turbo-petrol engine and a strong list of safety features.
