Planning a 7-Seater SUV? 2 Powerful New SUVs Coming Soon

MG Majestor will go on sale on April 20, 2026 The Scorpio N facelift will witness minimal changes.

If you’re planning to buy a 7-seater SUV, waiting a little long could bring you two fresh options – the MG Majestor and the Mahindra Scorpio N facelift. The Majestor (essentially a sportier variant of the Golster) is set to hit showrooms on April 20, while the updated Scorpio N is expected to arrive by mid-2026. Here’s a brief overview of these upcoming 7-seater SUVs.

MG Majestor

MG Majestor Launch Date

The MG Majestor lineup will be offered in two trims (Sharp and Savvy) - with 4X2 and 4X4 drivetrain options and two seating configurations – 6 and 7-seats. Under the hood, the SUV houses a 2.0L twin turbocharged diesel engine paired with an 8-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. This setup delivers a claimed power of 215bhp and 478Nm of torque. It offers multiple driving modes including Normal, Mud, Sand, Rock and Snow, along with three locking differentials.

MG’s new premium three-row SUV offers several premium features such as 12.4-inch dual screens, a 12-speaker JBL Studio audio system, three-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, an 8-way powered co-driver’s seat, 64 colour ambient lighting, ventilated front seats with massaging function, dual wireless phone chargers, a powered tailgate, Level 2 ADAS, 6 airbags, hill hold and hill descent controls, TPMS, EPB and more.

Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift

The new 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N facelift is expected to receive subtle design changes and feature upgrades, while retaining the existing engine options. This means, it will continue to use the 203bhp, 2.0L turbo petrol and 175bhp, 2.2L diesel engines along with both manual and automatic gearboxes. However, the SUV could be offered with the ‘DaVinci’ dampers, sourced from the XUV 7XO, to improve ride quality.

Spy pictures reveal that the updated Scorpio N will feature a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a new digital driver’s display, repositioned AC vents and redesigned centre console with new satin silver surround. The rest of the cabin layout and features will remain largely unchanged.
