The new Kwid facelift is available in 3 variants - Evolution, Techno and Outsider It gets a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen and digital instrument console The India-spec model gets an 8-inch touchscreen unit and semi-digital driver’s display
Renault has officially revealed the new Kwid facelift for the Brazilian public. The entry-level hatchback receives subtle design changes and an all-new interior. The Brazilian-spec model is available in three trim levels - Evolution, Techno and Outsider. For people not in the know, Renault had introduced the updated Kwid with limited changes in India earlier this year. Compared to the India-spec model, the Brazilian-spec Kwid comprehensive changes as part of its facelift.
The cabin of the new Renault Kwid has received the majority of the changes. It comes with a cleaner dashboard layout, featuring two screens - a 10.1-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment unit and a 7-inch digital instrument console. The India-spec model is packed with a semi-digital instrument panel and a smaller 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. The interiors of the Brazilian-spec Kwid appears more premium than the Kwid on sale in our market.

It is equipped with manual air conditioning, powered front windows, electrically adjustable ORVMs and two Type-C USB charging ports. For safety and security, the entry-level hatchback gets 4 airbags as standard, a reverse parking camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ABS with EBD, and hill start assist. The India-spec Kwid Climber also gets six airbags.
On the outside, the Brazilian-spec Renault Kwid receives a new front grille with vertical slats, and a new 3D Renault logo. Similar to the India-spec model, the hatch gets halogen headlamps and LED DRL bars. It gets an aggressive front bumper along with blacked-out elements. The hatchback rides on new 14-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The India-spec model gets 14-inch steel wheels with plastic covers. At the back, the Kwid facelift gets revised LED tail-light elements.

The hatchback rides on a 2423mm wheelbase, and offers a 290-litres of boot space. This is 11-litres bigger than the India-spec model. The Kwid facelift offers a ground clearance of 185mm.
The hatchback continues to be powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 71hp and 98Nm of torque with ethanol and 68hp and 92Nm with petrol. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The India-spec model also gets a 5-speed AMT option.
