The updated Kwid gets subtle design changes and new features. The lineup is available in two variants – Evolution and Climber.
Renault India has introduced the 2026 Kwid facelift at a starting price of Rs 4.53 lakh (ex-showroom). The MY2026 lineup is available in two trims, Evolution and Climber, comes with minimal design changes and feature enhancements. Mechanically, the new 2026 Renault Kwid facelift remains unchanged.
With the MY2026 update, Renault has discontinued the entry-level Authentic trim. As a result, the base variant of the Kwid gets expensive by Rs 22,000. Meanwhile, the Renault Kwid Evolution and Climber are now Rs 14,000 and Rs 32,000 more affordable than before, respectively.
The new entry-level Evolution trim is now available at Rs 4.53 lakh for the manual variant and Rs 4.90 lakh for the AMT variant. The Climber manual and AMT variants are priced at Rs 5.15 lakh and Rs 5.61 lakh, respectively.
Customers opting for the CNG version can have a dealer retrofitted CNG kit installed in manual variants at an addition cost of Rs 70,450. It’s available with a standard warranty of 3 years/1 lakh kilometre, whichever comes earlier.

The 2026 Renault Kwid looks largely similar to the previous model. However, it features new 3D Renault badges, steel wheels with dual-tone plastic covers, new silver finish and Kwid lettering on the tailgate. Dimensionally, the hatchback remains unchanged. It continues to measure 3,731mm in length, 1,579mm in width and 1,474mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,422mm. It offers a ground clearance of 184mm and a boot space of 279 litres.
The cabin layout and feature list also remain the same. The major update is the Kiger-sourced three-spoke steering wheel with mounted infotainment controls. In terms of features, the hatchback offers a semi-digital instrument cluster with a small MID in the centre, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, black fabric seat upholstery with yellow accents, all four power windows, manual AC and more.
On the safety front, the new Renault Kwid 2026 facelift offers six airbags, ABS with BED, a rear parking camera with sensors, hill start assist (exclusively available with AMT variants), a tyre pressure monitoring system, seatbelt reminders and keyless entry with central locking.
