Tata Curvv has been in the works for a long time and also spied testing multiple times on roads. A few leaked spy shots have recently surfaced online which revealed significant interior details of the upcoming Coupe SUV. The electric version is scheduled for launch in the second half of 2024 while the ICE model is likely to be launched during the festive season.
Based on the leaked images, the upcoming Curvv will sport Nexon EV-inspired LED DRLs and a headlamp assembly that is similar to Harrier and Safari. Additionally, it will offer a coupe-like design with substantial ground clearance. Other exterior features will include piano black cladding, flush door handles, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Moving on to the interior, the vehicle will have a spacious cabin with a boot space of 422 litres. It will get a dual-screen setup for infotainment and digital information display. Further, the vehicle will come equipped with a two-spoke steering wheel, automatic climate control, push-button start, and electrically controlled ORVMs. An ADAS suite will also be on offer.
Safety will be taken care of with features like 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, and parking sensors.
Tata will offer both ICE and electric powertrain options for the Curvv SUV. The electric model will be available in single and dual-motor setups, featuring front-wheel and all-wheel drive options.
While the ICE version will be powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This can generate 121 bhp of peak power with 225 Nm of torque. Besides, the engine option will be paired with a manual and automatic transmission. A 1.5-litre diesel engine is also likely to be on offer. This diesel engine can produce 115 bhp and 260 Nm of torque, mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Codenamed Y17, the new Maruti Suzuki Escudo will be a 5-seater SUV and will be sold through ARENA dealership network. It will be cheaper and longer than the Grand Vitara.
