Tata Punch Facelift and Sierra EV Launching in H1, 2026

Tata Motors will launch two new products in the first half of 2026. The company will also announce the prices of the petrol-powered Harrier and Safari SUVs. Adding to it, testing of the new Punch facelift has already been commenced on the Indian roads. This small SUV is likely to be launched by March 2026. Another big upcoming product is the Sierra EV, which is expected to be launched in the Q2, 2026.

Tata Punch Facelift

The new Tata Punch facelift will receive cosmetic design and interior changes, while mechanicals will remain the same. It will borrow styling elements from the Punch EV. The SUV will have a revised front fascia, featuring a slimmer headlamp setup, a new LED DRL signature, and new lower bumper. Other changes will include new alloys, new rear bumpers and slightly revised tail-lights.

Inside the cabin, the SUV will have a revised dashboard that houses a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. It will have a new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo. The higher-spec Punch is expected to get a 10.25-inch digital instrument console, while the lower-spec models likely to retain the 7-inch semi-digital unit. The small SUV could also get ADAS tech.

Tata Sierra EV

The new Sierra EV will be based on the Acti.ev platform that also underpins the Punch EV and the Harrier EV. It will directly rival the Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV and the Mahindra BE 6

It is likely to be offered with two battery choices, including a 55kWh from Curvv.ev and 65kWh from Harrier.ev. It will be a front-wheel-drive SUV, but the higher-spec model could get a dual-motor AWD setup. The electric SUV is likely to offer a range of up to 450-500km on a single charge.
