Tata Sierra EV Price Revealed – Check Variants And Range

Tata Sierra EV prices start at Rs 18.79 lakh. Available with up to 665km claimed range. Bookings open; deliveries begin on July 15.

Tata Motors has officially launched the Sierra EV in India at a starting price of Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric SUV is available with two battery pack options, rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) configurations, and a claimed driving range of up to 665km. Bookings are now open, while deliveries will begin from July 15, 2026.

 

Here's a look at the variants, prices, battery options and everything else the new Sierra EV offers.

The Sierra EV is offered in five variants. Buyers can choose between a 63kWh or 75kWh battery pack, while the top variant is also available with Tata's Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) system.

Battery Options And Range

 

Tata is offering the Sierra EV with two battery packs.

 

The entry-level 63kWh battery delivers 238PS and 315Nm of torque. It comes with a claimed MIDC range of 565km.

 

The larger 75kWh battery also produces 238PS and 315Nm, but increases the claimed range to 665km in the rear-wheel-drive version.

 

For buyers looking for more performance, Tata is also offering a 75kWh dual-motor AWD variant. It develops 349PS and 504Nm of torque and offers a claimed range of 624km.

 

The company says the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 26 minutes using a DC fast charger.

 

Design Remains Familiar

 

The Sierra EV carries forward the retro-inspired styling of the Sierra while adding a few EV-specific changes.

 

At the front, it gets a body-coloured closed grille with a connected LED DRL and horizontal LED headlamps. The bumper has been redesigned with gloss black inserts and a silver skid plate.

 

From the side, the SUV retains its signature wraparound rear glass, flush door handles, roof rails and black body cladding. AWD versions also feature QWD badging and 19-inch aero-style alloy wheels.

 

The rear design remains largely unchanged except for Sierra.ev badging on the tailgate.

 

Premium Cabin And Features

 

Inside, the Sierra EV gets a dual-tone cabin with a clean dashboard layout and premium materials.

 

A major highlight is the triple 12.3-inch screen setup, which includes a digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system and a passenger display.

The Sierra EV comes equipped with several safety features, including:

  • Six airbags
  • 360-degree camera
  • Front and rear parking sensors
  • Electronic stability control
  • Electronic parking brake with auto hold
  • Hill hold control
  • TPMS
  • ISOFIX child seat mounts
  • All-wheel disc brakes

 

Rivals

 

The Tata Sierra EV is positioned between the Curvv EV and Harrier EV in Tata Motors' electric SUV range.

 

It will compete with models such as the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, Maruti e Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella, MG ZS EV, VinFast VF6 and VinFast VF7.
