Tata Motors is all set to launch the long-awaited Sierra SUV on November 25, 2025. Ahead of the official launch, the Tata Sierra exterior design has been fully revealed in a teaser video. The latest video presents the similarities and differences between the OG Sierra and the upcoming model. Moreover, the SUV is clearly seen carrying the legacy of the original model and offers a massive road presence.

The new Tata Sierra will be marketed as a lifestyle SUV with high ground clearance and rugged looks. In the video, the SUV can be seen conquering every terrain including cold deserts, rough roads, highways and jungle.
Tata Motors retain the styling of the original Sierra, but the new model has more urban and modern appeal. This is a 5-door lifestyle SUV with boxy design, featuring squared out front and rear design. The front has connected LED daytime running lights, glossy-black finished grille, and rugged lower bumper that houses big air dam and silver skid plate.

The Tata Sierra gets flared wheel arches with strong cladding, blacked-out A and C-pillars, and black roof rails. The SUV gets flush-type door handles, and a large panoramic sunroof. The rear three quarter appears identical to the original model, which was discontinued 22 years ago. The SUV has less creases and curves, and smoother surfaces that adds to its strong boxy profile. The B-pillar is finished in body colour.
The rear profile has squarish shape that houses a large glass area, and a flatter tailgate. It comes with LED connected tail-lights, and a rugged lower bumper with black cladding and silver skid plate. The Tata Sierra rides on machined-cut alloy wheels, which seems 18-19-inches in size.

Tata Motors has also revealed the layered dashboard layout of the new Sierra. It is confirmed that the SUV gets a triple screen dashboard layout, featuring an infotainment unit, a digital instrument console and a co-occupant entertainment screen. The AC vents are placed right below the central touchscreen unit, and there is a touch display for AC and other controls. However, Tata retains a few buttons to control AC flow and volume. Also visible is the twin-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo. The SUV has dual-tone interior scheme finished in black and beige.
The new Sierra SUV second-row reveals premium leatherette seats. It gets adjustable headrests for all 3 seats. The Tata Sierra lifestyle SUV will come equipped with dual-zone climate control, powered and ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, powered ORVMs and LEVEL 2 ADAS tech.

Tata Motors is yet to disclose the engine specifications for the new Sierra lifestyle SUV. We expect the new model to get the 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that debuted at the 2023 Auto Expo. This engine produces 170PS and 280Nm of torque, and can be paired to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. The diesel version could either receive a 1.5L turbo or a 2.0L turbo engines. Both manual and automatic versions are likely to be on offer.
