A total of 3 upcoming 7-seater MPVs are set to be launched in the Indian market in the next 1 month. Nissan India has confirmed to launch the Gravite 7-Seater low-cost MPV on 17th February, while the luxurious Mercedes V-Class will be introduced in its new avatar on 3rd March. Buoyed by the success of VF6 and VF7, VinFast is now ready to launch its 3rd all-new product, the Limo Green MPV in the country in February-March 2026. Let’s talk about these 3 upcoming MPVs in detail.

The Gravite will be the re-badged version of the Renault Triber MPV, which is based on the CMF-A modular platform. It will share the sheet metals with the Triber, but the Gravite will have Nissan’s design language. The MPV gets a new V-Motion front grille, sportier bumper with silver highlights, a ‘Gravite’ nameplate on the bonnet, twin-strop LED DRLs, new headlamps and differently styled alloys.
The new Nissan Gravite will come with an all-black interior with contrasting beige treatment on the doors. It will come with a 3-spoke steering with mounted controls, and removable third-row seat. Powering the new MPV is the same 72bhp, 1.0L naturally-aspirated petrol engine paired to either a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT unit. The MPV could also get a 1.0L turbo petrol engine.
VinFast will launch the Limo Green as a direct rival to the Kia Carens Clavis EV. It is expected to carry an aggressive price tag, and could undercut most of its rivals. The electric MPV is expected to get a 60.13kWh battery pack, paired to a front-axle mounted electric motor. The combined power and torque output of 201bhp and 280Nm, respectively. Using a 80kW DC fast charger, the battery can achieve 10 to 70 percent charging status in just 30 minutes. The VinFast Limo Green offers a claimed NEDC range of up to 450km on a single charge.

Scheduled to be launched on March 3, 2026, the new Mercedes-Benz V-Class luxury MPV will directly rival the Toyota Vellfire. The new model will come with modern Mercedes grille, a large rear glass area with vertically-stacked tail-lamps, diamond-cut alloys, and sliding second-row doors. Inside the cabin, the luxurious MPV gets dual-digital displays comprising a large touchscreen infotainment unit and a digital driver’s display along with a 3-spoke Mercedes steering wheel.
The new V-Class is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine paired to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. This engine produces 158bhp and 380Nm of torque. It is expected to cost somewhere between Rs 1.10 crore and Rs 1.25 crore. Ex-showroom.
