This month, three new electric SUVs are all set to launch in India. Tata Punch EV facelift, Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella are all arriving this month, each bringing new features, updated designs, and impressive ranges. Let’s take a look at what you can expect from these upcoming electric cars.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara is one of the most awaited electric SUVs of the year. Set to launch around February 15-16, 2026, the e Vitara is built on the HEARTECT-e platform and will come with two battery options: a 49 kWh and a 61 kWh pack. With a claimed range of over 500 km on a single charge, the e Vitara will be a strong contender in the electric SUV market.
This upcoming electric SUV will feature a rugged design, premium interior with a floating dual-screen setup, and a suite of advanced safety features, including ADAS. The price is expected to be between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom), competing with rivals like the Tata Curvv.ev and the Hyundai Creta EV.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella is another exciting launch happening between February 16-19, 2026. Developed alongside the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, this electric SUV will also come with 49 kWh and 61 kWh battery options, delivering up to 500 km of range. The Ebella will have a bold design, described as "High-Tech & Adventurous," and a modern, screen-heavy interior.
This new Urban Cruiser Ebella electric SUV will be priced between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 25 lakh, positioning it as a competitive option in the electric SUV segment. Expect this model to offer similar features and performance as the e Vitara, while still standing out with Toyota's unique styling and design approach.

Tata Punch EV facelift is officially scheduled to launch on February 20, 2026, right after the update to its petrol-powered version. The facelifted electric micro-SUV will feature a cleaner front design with a closed-off grille, removing the previous black trim and LED light bar for a more minimalistic look. A new Sunlit Yellow colour with a black roof will give the Punch EV a fresh look, complemented by aero-optimised 16-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the Punch EV will receive a major tech update with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and potentially a Level 2 ADAS safety suite. Other premium features like ventilated front seats and a 360-degree camera will be retained. The Punch EV facelift will continue to offer two battery options: a 25 kWh variant with a range of 315 km and a 35 kWh variant with a range of 421 km. The pricing is expected to range between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom).
