Starts at Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom) Up to 468 km claimed range Battery EMI option at Rs 2 per km
Tata Motors has officially launched the Tata Punch EV facelift in India at a starting price of Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom). Along with updated features and improved range, the company has also introduced a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plan. Under this plan, buyers can opt for a battery subscription at just Rs 2 per km, helping reduce the upfront cost.
The Tata Punch EV facelift 2026 comes with better technology, faster charging and improved performance.
The 2026 Tata Punch EV is available with two battery packs - 30 kWh and 40 kWh.
Tata claims a C75 real-world range of around 335 km and 355 km depending on the variant. The larger 40 kWh battery offers an ARAI-certified range of up to 468 km. This makes the New Punch suitable for both daily city drives and longer trips.
The battery uses prismatic LFP cells and comes with a lifetime, unlimited kilometre warranty.

Charging performance has been improved in the Tata Punch EV facelift. It now supports 65 kW DC fast charging.
The battery can charge from 20 to 80 percent in just 26 minutes. Tata says a quick 15-minute charge can add up to 135 km of driving range. This makes it more practical for urban users.
The electric SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in under nine seconds. It also gets multiple drive modes and four levels of regenerative braking. Drivers can adjust regen levels using paddle shifters.
Tata has also improved the e-drive calibration for better efficiency and smoother response.
The facelift model continues to offer 195 mm ground clearance and a water-wading capacity of up to 450 mm. This keeps its SUV character intact.
One of the biggest highlights of the 2026 Tata Punch EV launch is the BaaS option. Buyers can choose the battery subscription plan and pay around Rs 2 per km as battery EMI.
This lowers the initial purchase price and makes electric ownership more affordable. The Tata Punch EV facelift price starts at Rs 9.69 lakh without the battery cost under the BaaS plan.
With improved range, faster charging and flexible battery options, the Tata Punch EV facelift 2026 strengthens its position in the compact electric SUV segment.
