Nissan Motor India has confirmed that a dual-cylinder CNG version of the Nissan Gravite will be introduced soon. The move is expected to make the 7-seater MPV even more affordable to run and attractive for budget-focused families.
The Gravite was recently launched in India at an introductory starting price of Rs 5.65 lakh (ex-showroom).

Nissan says the Gravite will get a segment-first dual-cylinder CNG kit. This setup is likely to improve practicality by preserving more boot space compared to traditional single-cylinder CNG systems.
The CNG option is expected to reduce running costs significantly, making the Gravite a strong choice for buyers looking for a fuel-efficient 7-seater.
At present, the Gravite is powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual and an EZ-Shift AMT gearbox.
The claimed fuel efficiency stands at 19.3 kmpl for the manual and 19.6 kmpl for the AMT version. The CNG version is expected to offer even lower running costs, although official mileage figures are yet to be revealed.
Nissan Gravite is offered in multiple variants, including Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna and a Limited Launch Edition. The introductory price of Rs 5.65 lakh is valid for the first 5,000 bookings.
Nissan is also offering zero service cost for 5 years and benefits under its loyalty program. Buyers can choose finance options starting at 5.55% ROI. The standard warranty is 3 years or 1 lakh km, which can be extended up to 10 years or 2 lakh km.
Based on the same platform as the Renault Triber, the Gravite offers a flexible 7-seater layout. It comes with removable third-row seats, while the second row can slide and recline for better comfort.
Key features include an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, JBL speakers on select variants, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, ambient lighting and a wireless charger.
