2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift spotted without camouflage. Bigger touchscreen and 6-speed manual likely. New engine options possible with 2026 Brezza.
India’s best-selling sub-4m SUV is getting ready for an important update. The 2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift has been spotted testing multiple times, and recent spy shots suggest the launch may not be far away. While the design looks familiar, the biggest changes are expected inside the cabin and under the bonnet.
Here’s a closer look at what the Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift could bring.
If you were expecting a bold new look, that may not happen this time. Test models of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza 2026 show the same front fascia, rear design, alloy wheels and lighting elements as the current version. The body cladding and overall stance also remain untouched.
This suggests that the New Brezza Facelift 2026 will follow a conservative design approach. Maruti seems to be focusing more on functional upgrades rather than cosmetic changes.

The cabin is where one of the biggest updates is expected. The 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza could get a larger 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the current 9-inch unit.
This new screen is likely to offer improved graphics and better connectivity features. Apart from this, the overall dashboard layout is expected to remain similar, but with minor refinements.
Another important update could be in the CNG variant. The 2026 Brezza is expected to get an underbody-mounted CNG cylinder. This setup frees up more boot space compared to the current layout.
However, this system may not offer a spare wheel, which could be a trade-off for buyers. Still, it helps improve practicality and cargo space.
One of the biggest mechanical changes with the Maruti Brezza Facelift could be the return of a 6-speed manual gearbox. Maruti has not offered a 6-speed manual since the diesel engine was discontinued years ago.
Spy shots have hinted at this gearbox making a comeback with the 2026 Maruti Brezza. This could improve highway driving comfort and overall efficiency.
Currently, the Brezza is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. With the Maruti Suzuki Brezza 2026, the company may introduce smaller engine options.
There is speculation about a 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo petrol engine. A 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine is also being considered. If introduced, these engines could help the SUV fall under the B-segment tax bracket, potentially making pricing more competitive.
For now, these engine updates remain unconfirmed.
The repeated test sightings and recent undisguised spy shots suggest that the New Brezza Facelift 2026 is nearing its official debut. While Maruti Suzuki has not revealed an exact launch date, the updated model is expected to arrive sometime in 2026.
