Four trims with multiple petrol, turbo and CNG powertrain options. Turbo engine delivers competitive claimed fuel efficiency.
The 2026 Maruti Brezza is finally here. Maruti Suzuki has announced the price of the entry-level turbo-petrol LXi variant, which starts at Rs 7.40 lakh (ex-showroom). The full variant-wise price list, however, is yet to be revealed. The updated lineup comes in four trims – LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+ - and offers four engine-gearbox combinations – a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol with 6-speed MT, a 1.5-litre NA petrol with a 6-speed AT, a 1.5L NA petrol + CNG with a 6-speed MT and the new 1.0L turbo-petrol with a 6-speed MT.
The entry-level LXi variant is available with three engine options – 1.5L NA MT, 1.5L NA + CNG AND 1.0L turbo MT. The VXi and ZXi trims are offered with all four engine-gearbox combinations, while the top-end ZXi+ variant is offered with 1.5L NA AT and 1.0L turbo MT combos.
The 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine continues to deliver power worth 103PS and 139Nm of torque, while the CNG powertrain offers 88PS and 121.5Nm. The new turbo-petrol engine is good enough for 110PS and 170Nm.
Maruti Suzuki claims that the 1.5L NA petrol LXi and VXi manual variants return a claimed fuel efficiency of 21.09kmpl, while the ZXi MT variant offers 20.81kmpl. The 1.5L NA automatic variants delivers a mileage of 20.17kmpl. The CNG version continues to deliver a fuel economy of 26.90km/kg. The new turbo-petrol in the LXi and VXi variants returns 20.47kmpl, while the top-end ZXi and ZXi+ variants promise a fuel efficiency of 19.96kmpl.
