Tata Motors has officially revealed the Tata Punch EV facelift, ahead of its launch on February 20, 2026. Instead of a major redesign, Tata has gone for subtle but noticeable updates. The biggest change is the removal of the LED light bar, which gives the electric SUV a cleaner and more upright look. With this update, Tata aims to refresh one of India’s most popular electric SUVs while keeping it familiar for its fans.
The most talked-about update on the Punch EV facelift is the missing LED light bar that earlier connected the DRLs. The front now looks simpler, with a closed-off grille that highlights its electric identity. The black trim between the headlamps has also been removed, making the design less cluttered. Minor bumper changes and a revised scuff plate complete the refreshed look.

Tata has introduced new aero-style alloy wheels on the Punch EV facelift, similar to those seen on the Nexon EV. These wheels are designed to improve efficiency while adding a more premium touch. The facelift also gets a new yellow exterior colour, paired with a contrasting black roof, giving the compact EV a fresher and sportier appeal.
While the interior has not been revealed yet, the Tata Punch EV facelift interior is expected to get tech upgrades. A larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, updated software, and improved connectivity features are likely. Features such as a digital driver display, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, ambient lighting and connected car tech are expected to continue. Tata may also introduce Level 2 ADAS to boost safety.
Mechanically, the Punch EV facelift is expected to retain the current battery options. These include a 25 kWh battery with a claimed range of 265 km and a 35 kWh battery offering up to 365 km. Power output and torque figures are likely to remain unchanged, keeping the focus on design and feature updates rather than performance.
Tata Punch EV facelift launch date is confirmed for February 20, 2026. Prices are expected to see a slight hike over the current model, which is priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 14.44 lakh (ex-showroom). More details on variants and features will be announced closer to launch.
