MG Majestor teaser hints at strong off-road performance. MG Majestor 2026 to sit above the Gloster in a new D+ segment. MG Majestor launch date confirmed for February 12, 2026.
MG has released a fresh teaser of the MG Majestor, its upcoming flagship SUV. The official MG Majestor launch date is February 12, 2026. Positioned as India’s first D+ segment SUV, the MG Majestor 2026 will sit above the MG Gloster and will be powerful in its portfolio.

The latest MG Majestor teaser shows the SUV driving confidently across snow, sand and muddy terrain. MG says the Majestor is built for situations where normal roads end. With advanced 4x4 hardware and terrain-focused systems, the 2026 Majestor promises better traction, stability and control in difficult conditions.

The teaser reveals a muscular design with a large gloss-black Majestic Matrix grille, vertically stacked LED headlamps and L-shaped DRLs. The SUV also features large dual-tone alloy wheels, flared wheel arches with black cladding and a full-width LED light bar at the rear. MG claims the Majestor will be the longest, widest and tallest SUV in its segment, giving it a strong road presence.
While the MG Majestor interior has not been fully shown, it is expected to be packed with modern features. The cabin is likely to get dual 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and the digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof and Level 2 ADAS.
MG Majestor is expected to use the Gloster’s 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine. This motor produces around 213-216 bhp and 478-479 Nm of torque. It will be paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and a proper 4WD system, making it suitable for both highways and off-road trails.
MG Majestor will be positioned above the Gloster and will compete with SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq and Jeep Meridian. Prices for the MG Majestor are expected to be between Rs 40 lakh and Rs 45 lakh, ex-showroom.
