Tata has five new EVs in the pipeline. The Sierra EV will be the first to arrive. More SUVs, a sedan and an MPV are on the way.
Tata Motors already has one of the biggest electric vehicle lineups in India, but the company is far from done. After launching models like the Tiago EV, Punch EV, Nexon EV, Curvv EV and Harrier EV, Tata is now getting ready to introduce five more electric vehicles over the next couple of years.
The upcoming lineup will include SUVs, a sedan and even a family-focused MPV. Here's a look at the top five Tata EVs expected to launch in India.
The Sierra EV will be the next major launch from Tata Motors. The electric SUV is set to make its debut on June 30, 2026.
It brings back the iconic Sierra name with a modern design. The SUV gets a boxy shape, full-width LED light bars, split headlamps, flush door handles and dual-tone alloy wheels.
Inside, it is expected to offer a large touchscreen, digital driver's display, panoramic sunroof, JBL sound system, powered front seats, powered tailgate and Level 2 ADAS.
Tata has also confirmed a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. Higher variants are expected to use 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery packs with features like vehicle-to-load (V2L), vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging and DC fast charging.

The Tigor EV is also expected to receive an update later this year. The facelift is likely to get a revised front design, updated lighting, new alloy wheels and a refreshed cabin.
It may also receive a larger touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, new connected features and improved interior materials. Tata could also improve the battery pack to offer a better driving range.
The Avinya will be Tata's most premium electric vehicle yet. It is expected to arrive by the end of this financial year or in the first half of the next financial year. The model will be based on Tata's new Gen 3 EV platform, which is expected to use technology from Jaguar Land Rover.
The Avinya will feature a completely new design, a premium cabin and several advanced features. It will sit above all current Tata EVs.
An electric version of the Safari is also in the works. The Safari EV is expected to share its platform, battery pack and many features with the Harrier EV. Higher variants could also get a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. With three rows of seats, it will be aimed at buyers looking for a large family electric SUV.
Tata is also believed to be working on a new three-row electric MPV.
The company has not confirmed its name or launch date yet. However, the model is expected to focus on practicality and space for families. It could rival upcoming electric MPVs from Maruti Suzuki, Toyota and Kia.
