Toyota cars has been working on multiple models in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki for the Indian market. Currently the joint-venture has spawned three models namely Baleno/Glanza, Brezza/Urban Cruiser, Grand Vitara/ Urban Cruiser Hyryder. In the upcoming months, the brand will be launching new SUV models in the Indian market and here is a list of the top 3 upcoming Toyota car models in the country.

Toyota cars is preparing to roll out the new-gen model of the infamous Innova MPV in India. Confirmed to be christened the Innova Hycross, the new model is set to be unveiled on 25 November 2022 with a price reveal expected during the Auto Expo in January 2023. Expected to grow in size, the upcoming MPV model is likely to ditch the 2.4-litre diesel and the 2.7-litre petrol in favor of an all-new 2.0-litre full hybrid petrol engine.
From the outside, the Innova Hycross will feature a reworked face characterised by the large hexagonal grille with LED headlamp. The recently shared teaser also reveals the bold creases that are expected to adorn the bonnet of the large SUV giving it much needed character. Besides, we may also get to see a set of new alloy wheel design, revised tailgate, new wrap-around LED tail lights, shark fin antenna and maybe a sunroof for the first time.
The price of the upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross is expected to be between Rs 18 lakh to Rs 26 lakh (ex-showroom). Rivals to the new model include the Jeep Meridian and the upcoming KIA Carnival facelift.

Despite the Maruti Suzuki Brezza going on sale months ago, Toyota has kept its version SUV under wraps. Expected to go on sale at the end of 2022 or early 2023, Toyota Urban Cruiser sub-compact SUV will feature a new face along with an updated feature list. The model is expected to be offered in three variants; Mid, High, and Premium. Talking about its engine and transmission, the new Toyota Urban Cruiser will be powered by the same 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 103 bhp and 138 Nm of torque.
The upcoming SUV of Toyota is expected to feature an upgraded SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment screen, automatic climate control, cruise control, steering-mounted controls, 360-degree camera, HUD, ventilated front seats and more. As for the safety, we expect the Urban Cruiser to offer 6-airbags, ABS, hill hold control, speed-sensitive auto door lock, reverse parking sensors with a camera, and a side impact protection beam.
Toyota Urban Cruiser is likely to start from Rs 9 lakh and go up to Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the KIA Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and Hyundai Venue.

Flagship product of Toyota cars international fleet, the Land Cruiser, is coming to India soon. Demanding a wait period of over 2 years, the new model has been an instant hit with anyone who wants a statement piece in their collection. The upcoming Land Cruiser Facelift is expected to launch by March 2023. This new SUV is based on the latest TNGA-F platform and features a body-on-frame construction. The all-new Land Cruiser gets two powertrain options internationally, but for India we expect Toyota to offer the 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 diesel engine producing 305 bhp and 700Nm. The engine will come mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission with 4X4 system as standard.
The Toyota Land Cruiser will feature a touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, the SUV will be loaded with other features including a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, a powered tailgate, a coloured multi-info display, and a keyless entry with a push-button start. Passenger safety will also be taken care of by ADAS functions like lane-keep assist, multiple airbags, emergency steering, electronic stability control, crash-avoidance function and more.
Expect Toyota to price the Land Cruiser around Rs 1.5 crore (ex-showroom).
