Kicking off its India 2.0 journey, KIA India today unveiled the all-new KIA Seltos Facelift. This marks the first major update for the model four years after it was initially launched in the Indian market. The 2023 model features cosmetic upgrades on the outside along with a whole host of segment first features on the inside. Here is everything to know.

KIA Cars is offering the Seltos facelift in three trim levels X-Line, GT Line and Tech Line and bookings open on 14th July 2023. For the loyal customers of KIA, the company is offering a unique K-Code loyalty programme that offers priority delivery for the new Seltos. Bookings for K-Code customers opens on 13th July from 12 am to 11:59 pm.

On the outside, the 2023 KIA Seltos Facelift gets an updated front facia designed on the lines of the ‘Opposites Unite’ philosophy. The new grille and split headlamp design features a new LED signature and main beam on the top, while the indicators are placed below. Excluding that, the car continues stay largely similar to the outgoing model and come provided with ice-cube like vertically stacked LED fog-lamps and large silver faux skid plate.
Moving to the sides, the overall silhouette of the SUV remains the same, but now rides on larger 18-inch alloy wheels giving the car a more aggressive and larger appeal. At the rear, there is a new set of connected LED tail lamps, dual sports exhausts and re-profiled bumper.

Like the outgoing model, the Seltos Facelift’s interiors have also been over engineered with many segment first features. The updated cabin features an all-new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic AC, 8-way powered driver, leatherette upholstery and more.
In addition to these new equipment, the company will continue to provide the SUV with 10.25-inch touchscreen system with U-Connect, ventilated front seats, HUD and premium Bose sound system.

The KIA Seltos was already a safe car with features like 6-airbags, ABS with EBS, ESP, 360-degree camera and more all offered as standard. But for 2023, the company is taking safety a fold higher with the introduction of ADAS function. The new suite of advance safety tech offer 17 features including lane-keep assist, collision mitigation control, blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control among others. This makes the new Seltos the second KIA Car to offer ADAS after the EV6.
KIA is offering the new Seltos with three powertrain option, two petrol and one diesel. Petrol options include a 1.5-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol which produces 156 bhp and 253 Nm. While the diesel is the familiar 1.5-litre turbo unit offering 113 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque.
Transmission option on offer include an IVT, 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, 6-speed IMT and 7-speed DCT.
