Apart from launching the new Altroz Racer, Tata has also introduced two new variants for its regular Altroz hatchback. The recently added variants are named XZ LUX and XZ+S LUX. While the former is priced at Rs. 8.99 lakh, the latter retails at Rs. 9.64 lakh. Moreover, the existing XZ+ OS variant has also been updated and is now priced at Rs. 9.98 lakh.
In terms of features, both XZ LUX and XZ+S LUX variants come with a range of new features. The XZ LUX offers an updated 10.24-inch infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. In addition, this variant gets a 360-degree surround view camera as standard. The second new variant, XZ+S LUX is offered with six airbags along with the features offered in XZ LUX.
Besides the upgraded trim, XZ+ OS is now offered with an air purifier and an iRA-connected car tech along with the aforementioned features.
For the standard Altroz, the automaker has removed the turbo-petrol engine. It now offers a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine and a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated with iCNG. There is also a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel mill. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed DCT.

Kia has not revealed the official launch date for the Clavis EV, but sources suggest that the electric MPV could go on sale by June-July 2025.
